I have been reading several articles and studies on the affects of gaming/violence on children. I think I am going to limit her gaming time even further to an hour at a time a few times a week, instead of every day.

In general violence in gaming and tv watching effects boys behavior more than girls. Funny, but true. I personally am careful of video games, but the issue may be she is tired. My daughter reacts similarly whenever I let her play on the computer for more than about a 1/2 hour at the time. The computer games are instructional, but have the same result. I think they just get tired or overstimulated and then have a tough time coming back to reality. I do not, however, have this issue when she plays Dance Dance Revolution. Maybe the physical stimulation helps. Good luck!
