Things to Do in the Boulder/Denver Area

Denver Museum of Nature and Science www.dmns.org

The DMNS has some amazing homeschool and weekend programs for children 3(with adult) and up.  Check it out in their education section.

Denver Zoo www.denverzoo.org

The Denver Zoo offers 3 day homeschool classes as well as weekend classes and scout overnights.  Check it out in their education section.  They also offer scholarships for needy families.

Denver Art Museum www.denverartmuseum.org

Free days are the first Saturday of the Month.  There are a lot of children’s activities located throughout the museum as well as backpacks available for checkout with activities.  If you belong to a homeschool group. you can arrange a tour that varies in price from 3.50-5.50 per child with a time length of 1 hr- 2.5 hrs.
