		<description>Thanks so much for this encouragement.  I have a gifted child I&#039;m considering home schooling and am encouraged to hear that there are other people out there who are like me.  My other two boys are happy at their school, but my gifted child just sits there 1/2 the day waiting for the rest of the class to catch up.  I feel like he would be much better in a one on one situation instead of a class of 27 students.

I do understand your frustration with not being like the other moms.  I am on my way to pick up my child from preschool where I stand out as the very uncool mom who drives a used car (that&#039;s always dirty from the gravel road we live on) and dresses her kid in hand me downs.    Try talking about planting a garden and canning your own green beans and see the looks you get!</description>
